Email Alerts on OSCAR
Setting up email alerts on OSCAR is a helpful way to keep track of when judges in certain courts open up their hiring process. OSCAR does not allow you to set up email alerts for specific judges, but it does allow you to receive alerts for the type and location of a court. For example, if you are interested in clerking for a district court judge in New Mexico, you can set up an alert to receive an email as soon as any district court judge in New Mexico begins accepting applications.
To set up an email alert:
- Select “My Profile” at the top of your screen.
- Click “Edit Profile.”
- Under the “General Information” section, select preferences for “Email Frequency,” “Preferred Types,” and “Preferred States."
- Click “Update Profile” at the bottom of your screen.
